About

Building tools with technical precision and calm clarity

I work across robotics, interaction, and design engineering, building systems where technical tools behave with the calm clarity of editorial objects.

My practice sits between prototyping, computer vision, and narrative research—turning technical processes into diagrams, interfaces, and small tools that people can actually use.

Lately, I’ve been exploring how soft technology can shape everyday behaviour: mixed-reality teleoperation, open-vocabulary one-shot 6D pose pipelines, interaction systems for young children, and speculative studies around food and ecological futures. I’m interested in how engineering, storytelling, and interface logic can share the same grid—precise, but not cold.

I currently study Design Engineering at Imperial College London. Outside of robotics, I play guitar, bass and make small music sketches—sometimes ambient loops, sometimes riffs for friends or our band. I treat music a bit like prototyping: layering, refining, and listening for behaviour. It’s a space where ideas stay loose, and where technical work finds a quieter rhythm.

Individual Researcher — Certified Safe UAV Navigation

Systems and Algorithms Laboratory · Imperial College London · Supervised by Dr David Boyle

Building a certified safety layer that lets a quadrotor fly the fastest safe go-around near moving pedestrians: Kalman-predicted obstacle trajectories, an EGO-Planner backbone, and a Bernstein / de Casteljau continuous-time collision certificate. Zero collisions across 304 certified flights on a 38-scenario MetaUrban benchmark; first-author manuscript in preparation.

Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, Electronics 1

Imperial College London

Ran first-year lab sessions, helped students debug analogue and digital circuits, and marked lab work with individual feedback.

Research Assistant — Humanoid Robotics

Central Research Institute · Midea Group · Foshan, China

Built a Vision Pro–based mixed-reality teleoperation system and an open-vocabulary 6D pose estimation pipeline (GroundingDINO, SAM-HQ, DINOv3, FoundationPose). Generated synthetic training data in Blender and deployed the π0.5 Vision-Language-Action policy for tasks such as pouring water and picking fruit.
